I created this blog to look at the joyful, happy, and loving moments that create my life.
As I noted in my other blog, I'm officially on hiatus until (probably) sometime in June, after the end of spring term. With all the writing I do at school, I have almost no interest in doing MORE writing in my off-time. It's been fun and it'll be fun again... :)
I'm taking a tiny little leave of absence from both this blog and my other blog. There have been some happy stuff that's gone on and that is still going on, but I'm not ready to blog about it yet. Also, I'm tired of writing in general for now. Much love to my one reader - I'll be back soon :)
to admit that I am grateful for being a middle class, white person but I am. I am grateful that I don't have to deal with the police and the law enforcement machine (sometimes on a daily basis) that many people of color and poor people do. I am grateful that I am not profiled or automatically suspected on the basis of my skin color, age, or social state.
I'm thankful for triscuts, with or without toppings. Not sure why, but I've been seriously munching on them recently and am happy they're such a tasty faux food.
I'm grateful for my network of friends, both east and west coast. I've been blessed with a number of thoughtful, loving, and compassionate people in my life and love all of them dearly.
I posted one of these with my original birth name on my other blog. I'm posting this one here - this is my adopted birth name. The Expression is the same for both but the Soul Urge and Persona are different. I think I have bits of both in me and I think they're both fairly accurate.
The Expression number shows us who we truly are, what we came into this life already knowing. This is where we feel most comfortable and how we automatically act. We attract people and situations to us that require our Expression so that they can further evolve. In this way we play the role of teacher. Naturally we are attracted to occupations that we resonate to, so the Expression number can be a strong factor in our choice of a career as well. Our Expression is the vehicle, with all its virtues and vices, that drives us along the path of our Destiny. It is the essence of our identity.
You use life changes like rungs on a ladder. Growth, variety, beginnings and endings are constant elements in your life. You are able to let go of anything or anyone in order to further your growth. Because of this ability, coupled with a talent for translating new ideas into logical, useful explanations, you would make a great teacher and/or writer. Travel is something you are made for, even if only through your mind.
The Soul Urge number has also been called Heart's Desire and Spiritual Urge. It is our secret, innermost longing. Our dream, our motivation, the fuel that energizes our journey. The Soul Urge number reveals what we secretly strive to be or accomplish. Some have said that this number tells us what we have been in previous lifetimes, the accumulated growth of our soul.
You have a direct link to inspiration and can manifest the best life has to offer through your creativity and wise use of the imagination. You inspire others to dream and to make their dreams come true. You have clairvoyant and psychic abilities, which you can develop and use to help others. Sometimes you may feel like you could burst with all of the information and insights you are receiving.
The Persona number describes the way we appear to the outside world, the first impression people have of us. We may not even be aware of how we are perceived by others because we are so often focused on our inner world, and many times the inner does not match the outer. Persona gives us a peek at some hidden talents we have. The talents that we use to get along in the world and in some instances, protect us from it. It is likened to a bag of tools (jewels) that we carry with us along the way.
There seems to be a golden glow of optimism and joy around you wherever you go. You are witty and playful, and your idealistic nature irresistibly draws the little child out of everyone you meet. Ever creative and interesting to talk to, you are never long without people to cluster around your radiance. You enjoy dressing up and are very creative with accessories. You've got a style all your own, even if you don't follow fashion.
I haven't posted the last three days just because school on T/Th is really busy and Wednesday I forgot. Happiness, true and authentic feelings of love and joy, seems difficult for me to find these days but I'm trying. I'm happy that I can afford to buy fresh food - that I don't have to exist on Ramen noodles and McDonald's happy meals. I'm also grateful for a warm bed and money to pay for gas and electricity.
